National Museum & Gallery - OF WALES
Set in fabulous surroundings in Cardiff city centre, there are works of art by world-renowned artists, particularly from the Impressionist era. An Evolution of Wales exhibition charts 4600 million years of the country's history and there is also a Natural History in Wales exhibition, showing local flora and fauna. Other exhibits show everything from Celtic monuments to Bronze Age gold, as well as ceramics, fossils and minerals.
