As far as I'm aware Dr. Who has never filmed in the Siambr. You aren't allowed to film in the house of commons so why should you be able to film in the Siambr?

I take it as a proud Welsh man you are happy to follow the English and not have original thought. Fair enough.
What has being Welsh got to do with it? Film in the building itself by all means like Dr Who have but the Siambr shouldn't be touched for a blockbuster. It would trivialise the Siambr's importance. It's hard enough firvthe Welsh Government to be taken seriously as it is and being known as the Spectre offices wouldn't help that.
I don't know about that. SPECTRE are a well run slick organisation that have global reach, I'm sure the lackwit bumpkins at the Welsh County Council could learn a few things from such an - albeit fictitious - organisation.
What harm could it have done? Let's put aside whether there would be any tourism benefits or not, the building was designed to be 'open', how totally opposite to that, how very Westminster, how stuffy and backward thinking this decision is.
I'm very pro-devolution and I actually find it annoying that a new democratic body has acted in this way.
I think it's a correct decision. If the filming portrays the building ia good, or evened neutral light, then that's one thing. Having the building used for SPECTRE's HQ is another thing comoletrly.
The headlines almost write themselves. No wonder it was turned down.
