Capital Quarter

I was told today that Public Health Wales have now signed the lease for four floors of CQ2; that only leaves floors 1&2 to let I think. Hopefully that'll help spur the next phase of building here.

Good news! Capital Quarter is shaping up nicely. In my opinion, No.1 and No.2 complement each other quite nicely. As a full scheme this design choice could look quite eye-catching.

I can confirm this after speaking to people in the know but they still need final WAG approval. Also as a consequence Temple of Peace is being touted about *nudge nudge Cardiff Uni*

Great news, number 1 and 2 look a bit odd sat there with empty plots either side so it'll be nice to see this under way. That'll be phase 1 complete after these two plots.

It's still two buildings isn't it? I wonder if both are going up at the same time?

So far it seems work is happening on the southernmost plot. Hopefully they do both the same time though.

Cardiff images have been updated on Google Maps by the way, looks like they're only a few months old.
