I thought I'd use an avatar when posting on our new forum, I then realised that the size of image at the default setting was very restricted and therefore increased it to 125px x 125px and 30kb. OK so I'm thinking it would make this message board even more interesting ( how could it be!! ) if we had a few more avatars on here. I then thought just how great an image can 125px squared give you? and it would be great if it was "cardiff relevant" so's to speak and don't like to be a bore but no 'top shelf' stuff
So there's the challenge to photographers - graphic artists and all the rest of us mere mortals out there. This will be judged via a poll (maybe) in a couple of months (ok lets say the start of september) and the winner will get there own personalized CARDIFFWALESMAP forum mug!! which will also have the winning avatar printed on it!
Only a bit of fun but nevertheless we just may get some pretty impressive stuff!

I have been meaning to stick my avatar up since yesterday, but my standard one has gone from my work PC. I will be adding it tomorrow once i get back home to sunny Cardiff. Apologies in advance as it is not Cardiff related. However i might change that once i've been to the Wolfburg game.

I've had my Avatar for years now. No Cardiff connection but it suits me! No intention of changing it - sorry, Paul.

Hi Linc - No worries there, I'm not coming out with any rules (don't really do them) re avatars - like they've gotta be cardiff related! the more avatars the better! it's only for my 'bit of fun' competition that we can look at the cardiff related ones. Like I said it can be a bit of a challenge to do something of a restricted size.

BLUEBIRD alert!! nice one Shminky - as long as it's not red!! I'm probably going to Yeovil, went to Hereford last saturday as we had already got our train tickets before they called the game off BLUEBIRDS!

No idea who Wolfburg are, maybe i should check my typing first Don't worry, there won't be any red coming from me Luckily we were planning on getting our train tickets to Hereford on the day so we were able to go to the Bath game. Pretty rubbish match but not a problem as the drinking sesh in Bath centre made up for it, would have been better had they not of closed the bar at half time

I think I'm likely to change mine periodically, and some may be of other cities as well sorry !

Well I've got people getting avatars up anyway!! and if I win my own competition - what the heck!!
