Altolusso

I might be alonehere but I don't dislike the way Altolusso rises out from behind the old stone building. I actually quite like the design of Altolusso too, although wish the finishes were higher quality.

It clearly isn't in the same league of two of the buildings posted - the league where "top position" means worst use of a historic facade or building. I'm also not sure I object to the one in Lancaster either.

Guardian architecture writers do seem to like having a little pop at Cardiff though.

A bit of a mixed bag there. The Unitarian chapel is laugh-out-loud funny but I really like the Lancaster bus depot. The student housing is an utter abomination.

I've got used to Altolusso, but it seemed a bit weird at first.

Ha you're right, Simon. Didn't notice. It popped up on Google newssearch when I typed in "Cardiff development".
