I am aware the above noted issue is a hot potato with several posters. However (and after cleaning the coffee from my monitor), I just could not resist a chuckle after reading a WOL article which stated that St. John's Crescent (adjacent to the Church of the same name) is in Pontcanna.

Here is the offending article.

It looks like we will all be living in Pontcanna soon :D

Perhaps some sort of demilitarised zone would make sense over any conflicted territory? I live in Canton and it's not true we all want to be in Pontcanna. Some of us would prefer Llandaff.

kinell that really is taking the piss.

I'm with Frank. Llandaff is where it's at, Pontcanna is for champagne socialists and the taffia. Llandaff is for the real deal

Llandaff is just an estate agent's invention. Everybody know it's a part of Pontcanna really.

Was it Pontcanna that was behind the McEvoy surge in Cardiff West? I wonder if Plaid is cornering the young (youthful?) and hip vote?

According to people in the count Riverside / Pontcanna was the only ward where Labour beat Plaid in on the day voting. Plaid were on top everywhere else but Labour smashed them on postal votes which make up around a third of the total votes cast these days,
