Thank you for your patience! that old message board I had an affection for but it turned out to be a nightmare!! still this one looks nothing like I'm hoping I can get it to look - so more patience please!! but still the tricky bit is done and it's available for use. So we're in at the deep end folks, I hope we get many registered users especially now that some of the issues plaguing the old board should be gone!!? The 'old board' will remain available for sometime although adverts will appear from the 22nd of this month I believe.

That's quite ironic.... I gave a big speech on the old board about this new one - hit the post button and it was considered to be spam!!! - annoying!
hasnt actually happened to me before but I apologise to those who've had to put up with that and hopefully all will be well here!!

looks more like a typical bulletin board. as kyle says, hopefully it will cut out all the dross

Are threads going to be migrated across from the old messageboard? Be a shame to lose info from projects that are currently in progress. Also it may even give a bit more life to this board if old threads are put on it. If it is even possible that is.

Well I've had to scratch my head even to get this far!! so it is not likely that I will be attempting to transfer all those old posts over here, I'm afraid it's the price we are going to have to pay for hopefully being free of plenty of the problems we were having. However the old message board will still be around (but with ads) for a fair old transitional period of time.

Prefer this type of forum to the Bravenet which has done it's job the past few years
