Six Nations visitors - Wales v England

At last those fans who arrive at Cardiff Central will see construction activity in the Central Square area! I know if I was a visitor to the city, say every couple of years, I would've seen the hoardings and thought that building should be up by now! Mind you it's a shame the game isn't in July when hopefully the bus station (make that shelters!) and Marland house will be a distant memory and presumably hoardings showing the new bbc hq will be advertising the future for the area. But back to today, so glad it's a glorious day when many eyes will be on the city, just hope it all ends with a welsh victory on the pitch later!! Regardless of the result this should prove to be a good day for the city of Cardiff

why do the welsh media keep bleating on about rugby and saying welsh people love rugby when they don't and it's just cr8p .

Well as an opiate! I'm gonna have a word with my dealer - coz that was bum gear!! now my other dealer supplies me with Cardiff City FC!! I guess it's cold turkey for me. naah kind of enjoyed that this evening but unfortunately england were, what's that word? oh yes BETTER than us - gutted but c'est la vie. as long as my other sports fix: CARDIFF CITY win on saturday the rugby will be a distant memory!! I sometimes wonder why I'm so cheerful as my other passions are the glass needle and bayscape!!

As a rugby supporter last night was a depressing event and that was before the game started. The reports from inside and outside the stadium have reinforced a widely held view that Friday night games should be shelved.

Agreed. There's no chance of it happening though. The broadcasters call the shots these days and the 6N gets great audiences on Friday night. One thing that could and should be done - the stadium bars should be shut during play. It feels like a lot of people are more interested in the beer and the occasion than in the game.

Why do they allow you to take beer to your seat? As a Cardiff City season ticket holder I've got no problem with and totally agree with not being allowed to take alcohol in. It's not rocket science, alcohol makes many people misbehave and if you are someone who doesn't drink or knows how to behave when you do, then why do you have to put up with drunken a****les? I mean how much are the tickets!! I take my 11yr old daughter to the football - and that's the canton stand not the family stand, and no worries. Not that she's interested but I wouldn't take her to a Welsh rugby international! Oh how times have changed eh! Come on powers that be in rugby, take a look at how it should be done at football!! - I honestly can't remember the last time I saw anyone really pi***d at the Cardiif City Stadium - really pi***d off but not drunk!!
