Tŷ Pont Haearn seems to be the early leader! It's not on my list, as it happens. It is a horrid building but it's made a lot worse by its splenid isolation. It wouldn't look quite so bad if there were more talls / semi talls surrounding it.

I agree, its looks a complete dump.

Why are there so many windows broken, people trying to get out?

Thinking outside the city centre, what about the Maelfa shopping centre and flats? Those flats are hideous and i am not surprised the BBC keep filming there pretending it's a run down part of London for shows like Doctor Who.

The NCP in Greyfriars Rd is awful. Ditto the NCP in Westgate Street.

Bank of Wales building in Kingsway looks like a childs drawing has been brought to life.

Calders in Duke Street is probably a reclad of a very old building. It looks so grotty and run down. Elsewhere it might not matter so much but opposite the castle it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Jury's Hotel.

Ty Pont Shite - goes without saying.

The Queen Street entrance of Queens arcade. The original entrance was at least visually interesting if a bit shit. The makeover is a bitter disappointment especially as you view it from the Friary.

Bank of Wales building being demolished? certainly something planned or indeed not planned for the building, looks like the 30 storey glass tower - Hilton extension is a step closer!! OK I may have made the last bit up!! But does anyone actually know anything about this current activity?

There was a planning app recently for refurbishment works, can't remember the detail but I think it may have involved new windows and some other bits and bobs. I assume it's to try and get it sold.

It seems a shame though for this to be empty when it's in such a great location, especially when there are so many offices springing up elsewhere. I think one of the issues with the building is that despite it's presence it's not actually very deep and the whole building is only 35,000 sq ft. There are also very few parking spaces with it (29).

Please not student accommodation though
