Looking like the electorate has generally followed the advice of the tabloids! Major differences within regions and rural/urban areas clouding the overall picture. Disastrous results in Wales for Remain campaigners.

that's it we are fucked. the uk will now fall apart and Wales will be left with England and fall into perpetual decline.

expect massive pressure on the NHS as upwards of 2m expats come home, many of whom are retired and don't contribute economically.

Yes, why not call a referendum?

Wales is destined to be the impoverished arse-end of England forever and leaving the EU will only make Wales even more dependent.
Wales is now politically no different to England, the only Nationalism on the rise in Wales is of the British variety.

I'm very disappointed in Wales as a whole today, but I'm proud that 60% of Cardiffians were compassionate and sensible enough to vote Remain. One thing's for sure though, the developments of Cardiff are the least of our worries for the foreseeable future.

A new Scotland Independence referendum????

A sizeable number were not voting for Leave or Remain but thought this might be a way to get a second referendum.

However 1,617,989 voted in 2014 for independence and yesterday 1,661,191 voted to remain, and this is without the compulsory Euro.

As for Wales this was the right result, only "multicultural" Cardiff had any meaningful swing to remain.
