A bit of Penarth news, a cheese and wine shop called Fauvette has just opened on Glebe St and it seems Brewstone will be opening in the former Blockbusters on Windsor Rd next year.

Rooftop restaurant with 360 degree views of the city? Dominion's House is a nice enough building, but it's hardly high rise is it?

Chiquito in Cardiff Red Dragon Centre and Brewery Quarter too close. Always a terrible restaurant. Cardiff is not a foodie paradise after all!

Chiquito is a particularly shit Mexican chain restaurant and these closures are probably part of a larger problem. In Cardiff you can go to Wahaca, Las Iguanas, Tortilla or Mission Burrito and that's just the chains. Las Iguanas also recently opened in Swansea so I suspect that they have won the day there.

Woah! How did I miss Local World being bought by Trinity Mirror late last year? Yikes.
